Infineon Raceway will feature more than 50 days of drag racing during the 2010 Big O Tires Racing Season, highlighted by the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series and the return of SPEED’s PINKS All Out drag racing. The world-famous drag strip, considered one of the quickest and fastest in the country, will host 52 days of drag racing in all. The 23rd annual FRAM Autolite NHRA Nationals returns to the Sonoma Valley, July 16th-18th. Top Fuel’s Antron Brown became just the seventh driver in NHRA history to sweep the Western Swing in Sonoma in 2009. Brown was joined by Tim Wilkerson (Funny Car), Jason Line (Pro Stock) and Andrew Hines (Pro Stock Motorcycle) in the Wine Country Winner’s Circle. The FRAM Autolite NHRA Nationals will be followed the next weekend, July 23rd-25th, by the NHRA Division 7 Drag Races, presented by Korbel. SPEED’s popular reality show PINKS All Out debuted at Infineon Raceway in 2008 before a near-capacity grandstand, and after a one-year hiatus, returns, September 17th-18th. Infineon Raceway will also host two annual programs for drag racing fans: the Summit ET Bracket Drag Racing Series and the raceway’s popular Wednesday Night Drags program, which enters its 22nd consecutive season in 2010. The 11-race Summit ET Bracket Drag Racing Series season kicked off on January 3rd, while the Wednesday Night Drags program runs March 3rd-November 10th. The Top the Cops™ program, which gives high school students the opportunity to drag race against local law enforcement officers, will run from April through August in conjunction with the weekly Wednesday Night Drags. For more information on these programs, or more information on the complete drag-race schedule for 2010, visit www.infineonraceway.com or call 800-870-RACE.
